Shane Markley is a cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience specializing in cyber security program development, security operations, threat intelligence, training/mentorship, and GRC. He has worked in several different industries including Utilities, Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, and Entertainment.
Shane is currently a Sr. Systems Engineer with Palo Alto Networks. Prior to coming to Palo Alto Networks, Shane previously helped lead the Verizon Global Security Services Threat Intelligence initiative. He also ran a Cybersecurity Operations Team for a Utility company in Las Vegas where his team managed all aspects of Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Data Loss Prevention, and Vulnerability Assessment.
