Have served and worked in the military, private sector, and public sector.  But in the last 19 years have been in the Education K12 sector.  Cybersecurity has always been an interest and as the years have gone by, the more I learn about it, the more I realize how much there is to know.  But two things I do know major cybersecurity breaches:  1) it is a matter of when not if, and 2) my organization, or any organization for that matter, cannot compete with full time bad actors in terms of time and resources.  Given this, my main focus is to make my organization as small of a target as possible, and when we do get breached, we need to be able to recover as quickly as humanly possible.

I have been working at Moreland School District for the last 3 years, and have done several things to achieve that.  I still have things to do, but I would be interested in what others have done given limited funding and resources.
